Pre-Wedding Stress - Tips on How
to Manage It
No matter how simple your wedding may be, or how much money you may have, stress has a
funny way of creeping in. I have coordinated weddings for quite a few friends and
relatives now and my advice to you wed to-be out there is Plan the wedding you want! With
proper planning, research and lots of compromising, you not only reduce the stress but can
actually have fun planning the wedding.
One of the main factors why couples stress out is because they try to please everyone.
There are too many opinions given. Every party has an opinion of how the wedding should
be. Remember - your wedding should be the way you want it. In order to alleviate this
problem, you and your fiancée must sit down together at the very early stages to figure
out what exactly you want. Decide on your theme, and how you want your wedding to go. A
simple wedding, a traditional wedding
conceptualize and list what you want to do.
Then, decide what is and isn't negotiable and go from there, always bearing in mind that
it's a big day for your parents, too. You don't want to disappoint them completely. So,
it's important you choose your battles right
be willing to go on certain things and
stand firm on other issues.
This way, there is a compromise...
