Photograph Adventure
Ever thought of taking your wedding photographs at the seaside, with the gentle, blue sea
as the serene backdrop, or at the beautiful hills as the picturesque setting, or maybe at
a exotic garden full of greenery and rich lushes? Oh, that would be perfect, wouldn't it?
Imagine the time and manpower needed to plan for a photography shoot at the actual site
doubt
the photgrapher, make-up artist, hairstylist, costume personnel would tag along without
good returns, though. Too much of cost and hassle makes one give up on all the ideas,
ending-up in wedding studios - taking photo shoots with different backdrops.
Well, all is not lost. We recently found out that some wedding management services in
collaboration with wedding houses do offer photography shoots at reasonable prices. On 26
February 2000, we 'popwedders' covered a mass wedding photography session at the
"Anna and the King" movie location site at Clearwater Golf Sanctuary, Batu Gajah
in Perak, Malaysia. This was the first ever mass photography carried out at the site. The
setting was perfect for a wedding album. What was offered was romantic, with a rustic
charm of ancient palaces and Asian architecture. It was every photographer's dream to take
beautiful pictures and every couples dream to be part of the exotic settings. I for one
would love to have these photographs and be able to tell my children someday, that hey, my
wedding photographs were taken at the same set where Jodie Foster and Chow Yun-Fat was
filming.
Malaysia is wonderfully rich in natural, beautiful scenery - from the romantic highlands
to the tropical beaches that would be ideal for wedding shoots. So, be more adventurous
and look out for good packages that offer special photography sessions at different
locations, e.g. Cameron Highlands, Fraser's Hill, Pangkor Laut, etc., for your once in a
lifetime wedding album. Don't give up any good ideas that you may have in mind. Many
couples drag their time in planning and end up doing very common things. Create yourself a
wedding photography session you will remember. Be creative and daring enough to explore.
You will never know what adventure it will turn out to be for you both.
