Planning
early also means you have more time to choose your gown
The perfect gown shouldn't be the gown you didn't choose.
Think about this, you want to take your time to choose your perfect gown and that means
you will have to plan early in order to afford the time to choose and shop. Remember, if
you are planning to tailor make your own gown and not rent - it takes a minimum of two
months to complete the gown. That too depends on your designer's schedule.
Planning early means you can shop around, look at magazines, surf the net to get ideas of
which gown and styles you fancy most. You wouldn't be pressured into making hasty
decisions if you had the time. This can happen even if you are renting. You see most
bridal gown boutiques do not carry too many of the same styles. So, if you are shopping
last minute you may be pressured into booking for that particular gown because you do not
want to 'lose' out. When you can afford the time, chances are you can find similar ones in
other shops or spend enough time browsing magazines or the net before tailor making your
gown.
