I guess I will only know when it is my turn

Same issue again - stress

I think this issue of stress has been tackled till death here at Popwedding.com. But somehow, it seems I get lots of letters (e-mails rather) talking about how stressful it is to organize a wedding. So, this week I am 'forced' to talk about stress again... No, no I am not complaining about my loyal readers out there. I guess being single it difficult for me to imagine the stress would be brides and grooms go through. I mean I have seen it but I have never felt it. Anyway, there are three simple techniques you can use to deal with your pre-marital stress (hmmm... PMS):
  1. Visualise. Close your eyes and breath gently for a few minutes. Visualise any picture or situation that brings you peace. If imagining the woods or the beach help then do just that. Some people like to play soothing music as they visualise.

  2. Change your focus. Actually spend time doing everything else but things related to your wedding.

  3. Ask yourself - do you need it? Are you setting standards that are too high for yourself? Remember, no matter how messy wedding preparations seems to be the wedding usually turns out right. Things have a way of falling in place.
Keep those e-mails coming. I love the music suggestions so many of you sent me. Once I get the time, I will be updating them.
