Close your eyes and imagine ten years from now...
There are so many decisions to make while planning for a wedding. I
hate saying that planning a wedding can be a stressful thing. But fact
of the matter is that it can be stressful. Only if you choose for it
to be. Only if you let what others say affect you. Only if you think
what others are going to say affect you. I have this simple exercise
that you can do which I hope will help you make nitty-gritty decisions
easier.
Close your eyes and imagine 10 years from now. Will you remember or
will people remember that you made a 'mistake' on certain choices? If
the answer is that chances are people won't then don't take too much
time deciding. I mean will people remember the colour of your envelope
which you inserted your wedding invitation? How many gowns you changed
that night during your wedding banquet? What is the colour of the
tablecloth you used? Chances are people won't remember and neither can
you.
