Honeymoon (continued)
"Don't worry, you'll make money out of it or you'll break even at the end." Was
the standard reply from the veterans but the soon-to-be-married couples always look
skeptical. Can't really blame them.
Even when you do earn money out of the dinner, you'll then consider using the extra money
for house renovation or buy furniture or buy electrical appliances
everything except
honeymoon.
Do plan your budget properly for all the expenses. Always make sure that you follow what
you've planned and never ever compromise on that.
Go for destinations that are according to your budget. Ensure that the destination has not
been visited by both of you. This is to ensure that both of you can explore the new
destination together. That's what honeymoon is all about.
Having something good to look forward to after the whole wedding planning and execution is
a great way to reward both of you for being diligent and thrifty. Honeymoon is the actual
time that both of you really spend for each other.
Many couples tend to leave honeymoon as a last necessity, a luxury. But can you imagine
going back to work immediately after your wedding day? What kind of impression will you
have of wedding? Best is to spend sometime away together to rekindle your love and not to
take things for granted?
There are couples who say that they planned to go on a honeymoon later
. How much
later? You'd never get around to going to honeymoon, as there will be different priority
later. A baby might have come along and you'll be too tired, emotionally, physically or
financially. If not a baby, you'd be too caught up in the rat race to go on leave.
Honeymoon is important as it make the rest of both your lives sweeter
so don't take
it lightly.
