I had a friend who called me the other night because she was getting married the next day and asked me how is one supposed to feel the night before one's wedding. Of course, I said I wasn't sure; after all I have not been married before. It turned out she said since I write for this wedding site she thought I should know. Well, well, Doris (her real name - I have permission to mention it) do you know how a car works since you drive everyday? :-D Just kidding...

Anyway, we talked about it and she said she has mixed feelings… she feels she misses home already (she was going to marry to a different town), misses her parents, excited because she was going to start a life with a man she truly loves, apprehensive because she was going to stay with her in-laws,… She just didn't know what to expect. Well, to those of you out there who will begin to feel what Doris felt that night - like what I told her - enjoy the moment, you will never feel the same emotions again.

As for me, until my day comes - to me I think it feels a little like the song "Skylark".
