Beauty Tips For Your Wedding Day

Run a bath to start off the day. A bath additive, baby oil or a cup of milk will help relax and soothe your nerves. Whilst bathing, it's a good idea to apply mask, especially when you know you've got a long day ahead. A mask is the most efficient skin cleanser available, and make-up that goes on to a scrupulously cleansed, cool-to-the-touch skin lasts longer.

If you had poor sleep the night before or feel jittery as a result of being tense and over excited, relax over a cup of chamomile or peppermint tea, or a tablespoon of honey taken in hot water instead of a cup of normal coffee or tea.

If you know you are going to perspire in the day, soak a little pad of cotton wool in toner and keep it close to you. When you start to feel hot, pat your face making sure you do not disturb your make-up. This trick helps to keep the skin tone and temperature nicely balanced.

When you are feeling tired and haven't time to rest, lie on the bed and lie your legs on some pillows about 1-2 feet high, making sure legs are straight to send blood to your head and re-oxygenate your eyes, hair and skin. During this time also, you could refresh your eyes by using a wet cotton wool as an eye pad or cucumber slices or cold, used tea bags (the eye refresher ritual can be carried out whilst soaking in bath too).
