Valentine's
Day - A Point of View

Wow! That stressful day is up again. Yes, yes, we know stressful could be a wrong word for
many of us. Hey, but you cannot deny that - V-Day can be quite stressful.
One of us once dated a girl that sees V-Day in a - in his words -
"very commercialised way, her world view about Valentine's Day is totally dictated by
commercial messages. Candle light dinner at a fancy restaurant (McD's doesn't count, not
unless they have chandeliers behind their order counters!), Red Roses (preferably 999
roses, after the cheesy Mandarin song of the same title) and, a very expensive gift to
match the restaurant that you are going to give her the gift and of course the killer
being... - surprise her with it! I mean come on..."
Needless to say that relationship didn't workout. So, what have you planned for
Valentine's Day? Hey, gals why don't you plan this year for a change? And before anyone
jumps into conclusions based on the earlier sentence - among us are 2 co-founders who are
very, very liberated ladies! Have a good one on Feb 14 (at McD's if possible!).
