Mass Wedding Photography Event

In the quest to bring you more tips and ideas for your wedding we went
to the on-site location for "Anna and the King" to cover a mass wedding
photography event.
It was a beautiful and serene Saturday morning on 26 February 2000 at Clearwater Sanctuary
Golf Club. The kind you pray you would get on your wedding day - clear skies and
everything nice. In was so for the 12 couples and their photographers who were there to
participate in a mass wedding photography event organized by Heritage Moments Sdn Bhd.
As some of you may have guessed, yes - Clearwater Sanctuary Golf Club is where the now
famous Hollywood movie " Anna and the King" set is situated. We must say it is
quite a different experience for these couples - to be able to shoot their wedding photos
at such an "exotic" place. It's not often that one gets to shoot on a Hollywood
movie set - not unless you plan to fly all the way to California to do just that. And, of
course, spend a sack full of money to be able to get the chance.
Did we mention money? Yes, money - the million dollar question (no pun intended). How much
do you think a package like this costs? 3 days 2 nights stay at Heritage Hotel Ipoh,
transport from Ipoh to Clearwater and back, food that includes 2 breakfasts, lunch, high
tea and dinner, photography session and photographs, vouchers from jewellers, travel
agent, alcohol distributors, Heritage hotels in Ipoh and Cameron Highlands and Clearwater
Sanctuary. A very affordable RM1,888! OK, what's the catch? No catch. Heritage Moments in
collaboration with some bridal houses from Kuala Lumpur - Picaso, GTC, Bride's House was
able to bring such a value for money proposition to weds-to-be.
Will there be more of such events in the future? We heard it will depend on your response.
We also heard the next such event would be held in Cameron Highlands.
Meanwhile, we congratulate Heritage Moments and their friends at Picaso, Bride's House and
GTC on a job well done!
