dream wedding but a nightmarish marriage?
What's the use of having a dream wedding when you don't know how to
have wonderful marriage?
Sometimes we wonder if weds to-be spend too much of their time
planning a perfect wedding (if ever there is such a thing as a perfect
wedding) that they lose sight of what is the bigger picture.
For those of you who are all stressed out about your wedding we
suggest you refocus. Try reminding yourself that a wedding is but a
fleeting moment in time after which you will have to work much harder
to nurture and grow a marriage for as long as both of you shall live.
What's the use of having a grand wedding if you cannot make your
marriage last? Remember a dream wedding is not a pre-requisite to a
marriage free of nightmares.
Try asking yourself if you know the difference between a bride and a
wife? A groom and a husband? A wedding ring and the love that rings
you both together? The vows that you make on the wedding day and the
actions after, which will speak more of your commitment to each other?
The car that you use on your wedding day and the journey that both of
you will take for the rest of your lives?
Maybe when you start to understand the difference, you would not
stress out that much.
