| Set time to visit the banquet hall
You have now reserved the banquet hall, decided on the menu, arranged with the banquet
manager all the requirements that you need - the color of the table cloth, where the stage
should be, the flower arch, etc… but do you really know how it will look like?
Most of the time, hotels and restaurant would be able to show you picture of similar
requirements that they have taken. And that would give you a pretty good idea of how it
would look like on that day. If you are comfortable with that, then that's fine. If you
are not, we suggest you ask the banquet manager for a date when a wedding is being held
there. Just pop by to take a look at how the place is decorated. But please be courteous
and subtle about it. After all it is someone else's wedding. You can observe from far and
feedback to the manager any questions you may have. It is also best to have the manager
accompany you. And do not linger too long, a quick 10 minutes look should suffice and give
a pretty good idea of the colors and decorations. |
