Citrus, the architecturally stunning restaurant perched on the hill next to Scalini's on Jalan Sultan Ismail has been revitalised with a little 'rouge'. While there is no charge to Tony Chi's 'California Dreaming' architecture there has been a big transformation to the interior plus an invigorating new approach to food presentation. Citrus has re-opened with a new look, a new menu, a new attitude and a new name - "CITRUS ROUGE".

The new "Ultra Lounge", as Chef White describes it, has a retro, "James Bond" ambience. Slinky cocktail waitresses deliver drinks and cigars to guests luxuriating on the plush sofas whilst absorbing the new Citrus Rouge vibe. Live entertainment will also play an integral role in the new Citrus Rouge. According to Hans Durst, performances by some of Malaysia's leading Jazz musicians at the Supper Club will be the curtain raiser. Citrus Rouge is destined to be the venue for media and lifestyle launches and a showcase for the Kuala Lumpur arts scene.
