Yeoh was arrested at at Mid Valley Megamall while attending the Charity Premier of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon with his sister and their parents.

He denied that he and Michelle Yeoh had ever set up a combined business venture, adding that it was 'total rubbish'. He also denied media claims that Michelle Yeoh had gave him money for his business and had even post bail for him.

Bobby, who was recently charged with abetting Yap Say Woon, 38, in committing criminal breach of trust (CBT), also said, "They (the media) even claimed that I was subpoenaed and didn't attend court. It's all rubbish. It's sad that my sister, Michelle, who has nothing do with this, has been dragged in unnecessarily. It could adversely affect her career." He also spoke of how he and Michelle were very close and that she would call him often despite her busy filming schedules.
