The World Premier of 'Summer Holiday' was held last week on 3 August at GSC Mid Valley Megamall. The event was graced by stars Sammi Cheng and Richie Ren. Director Jingle Ma attended as well, along with local talent Michael Wong, who starred in the movie.

It was indeed a great opportunity for fans of the stars to get close to the pretty star who was absolutely charming and looked great in a simple red dress. Richie Ren looked bashful amidst all the attention of fans and media alike but Sammi took it all in her stride like a pro, constantly smiling for the cameras.

The Minister of Arts, Culture and Tourism, YB Datuk Abdul Kadir was present to grace the event. Datuk Kadir said that he strives to make Malaysia an attractive place for the filming industry, and to cut the bureaucratic red tape in obtaining permits.

'Summer Holiday' was filmed in Pulau Redang and Malacca and will be released by the end of August nationwide.
