For the first time ever in film history, a completely
computer-generated character will act alongside real-life actors and
it's going to happen in Al Pacino's ('Any
Given Sunday', 'The Insider')
next movie. The cyber character, Simone, will be Pacino's leading lady
in the new movie by writer-director Andrew Niccol ('The Truman Show').
The story is about Simone, an aspiring actress who experiences
overnight success and Pacino as her Hollywood film producer. Niccol
said he decided to use computer graphics for Simone's part after
failing to find the right actress for her role. The movie will begin
shooting in September.
Al Pacino is virtually a legend in Malaysia for his roles in films
like 'The Godfather' and 'Heat'.
