"Healing Hearts" is a heart-warming and touching story of Lawrence, Jackie and Samantha. Senior Medical Officer Lawrence (Tony Leung Chiu Wai) is a dedicated doctor who has not given up hope on his girlfriend Jackie (Michelle Reis) who is in a comatose state due to a failed suicide. Samantha (Esther Kwan) also a doctor, is in love with Lawrence even though she knows of Lawrence's continued love for his girlfriend. Both of them eventually become good friends in which Lawrence find himself gradually falling in love with her. During this time, Jackie wakes up from the coma and wants to start a new life with Lawrence. Unfortunately, much to Lawrence's dismay, he discovers that there is a tumour growing in Jackie's brain and has to face leaving Jackie again...
