Fancy cars, flashy clothes, pretty
people and gorgeous sights. These, make up the story about young love. Filmed mostly in
Thailand and New Zealand, this movie has attracted a large crowd not only from the young
but also from the older generation as well. I hear that this movie is playing very well in
India. Even my parents were impressed with the movie, which made me want to watch it.
Be prepared for a good music score
by Rajesh Roshan. The movie can almost be classified as a musical with the cast breaking
into a song here and there. But I am not complaining because the songs caught my attention
the first time I heard them.
I must also gush about the wonderful cinematography. The
sceneries are breathtaking and only someone with a good eye can capture and present scenes
that beautiful.
However pretty scenes alone cannot make up for a good movie if
not for a good cast. First time actor and actress Hrithik Roshan and Amisha Patel must be
commended for their excellent performance. Their acting was very natural, very unlike
first timers who tend to be forceful in delivering their lines. Both Hrithik and Amisha
made a handsome pair. Hrithik with his dusky look and (his eyes....gosh, they made me
swoon the first time I saw them) and Amisha's innocent charm would definitely sweep you
away. Amisha's looks reminds me so much of Neelam.
I was very much sceptical about the movie in the first place. But
after watching it, I would highly recommend this movie to everyone. Do not expect anything
out of the ordinary, just go into the cinema and be entertained. That is exactly what I
did. I bet once you have watched it, you would come out humming the tune, kahona pyar
hai..... . I am, as I write this. |
