Wow! After recently watching Tokyo Raiders, Ekin Cheng again suprises us in this latest action flick. This time hes not a bodyguard, but as a great swordsman who kills without leaving a single drop of blood.

In Ming Dynasty, secret agent Dragon 9 is commanded to arrest the mysterious "King of Thiefs". Together with his good friend, Simon the Snowblower or "God of Sword" they take on the criminal. While trying to make the arrest, the "King of Thiefs" sacrifices his disciples in order to save himself. Simon the Snowblower manages to save one of them and falls in love with her.
Upon accomplishing their mission,Dragon 9 journeys back to the palace, he meets with Lonely Yip, also known as "Holy Sword" who requests a contest to be held between him and Simon the Snowblower on the apex of Forbidden City. The news of this fight is widely spread in the martial arts circle and bets for Lonely Yip increases because of his showing off in martial art talents. Upon Lonely Yip's arrival in Beijing, he is injured by Tong Yong and when Swallow (The Princess) discovers of his wounds, she covers and takes care of him wholeheartedly.

Meanwhile, Dragon 9 finds out there is a mysterious swordsman whose mastery is about the same as Simon the Snowblower's is commiting some killings in the city. Thus, Simon the Snowblower is suspected. Dragon 9 later finds out that it is not his friend's doings and he returns to the palace to investigate further.

The time arrives for the duel to begin, palace officials authorizes only 8 golden medals to be used to enter the palace to watch the event. Unexpectedly, many turn up with counterfeit medals and night becomes rather difficult for the palace guards. The fight begins, "God of Sword" and "Holy Sword" are at the top of the Forbidden City. Suddenly it appears that there is a conspiracy and they discover that "Holy Sword" had someone to disguised as him while the real "Holy Sword" is in the palace about to assassinate the emperor. But "Holy Sword's" plot was discovered by Dragon 9 earlier and he successfully protects the emperor.

"Holy Sword" then says that he wishes to finish up the fight with "God of Sword". The emperor agrees. After a long battle, "Holy Sword" loses and he is honoured to die in the hands of "God of Sword". Swallow cries and rushes to his aid but "Holy Sword" pushes her away as he takes closer step to the throne. "Holy Sword" dies on the throne and he feels happy that someone loves him and says that life is always full of the unexpected, tomorow will be better ...

Although the plot wasn't much, it had lots of great fighting scenes and lots of crappy humor which made the show ever exciting and intensively fun to watch the whole time. Being an Ekin Cheng & Andy Lau fan myself, I must say its well worth the watch.
